really intresting topics - but my unit is 670G with build in SIM. and I made adaptation of channel 69 - change value to 32783 then I got online menu but problem is that I cannot get license - I am getting answer from server currently the query cannot be processed.

whats neccessary to change in green menu or codding for solve it?

so I think something is neccessary to change in green menu settings - its a reason why I am trying to find a help.

Английское голосовое управление в русской версии MMI 3G.
Только для MMI 3G. Любое железо, любая прошивка.
Для рестайла с MMI 3G+ не имеет смысла.


После работы скрипта меняем в настройках MMI язык на английский (CAR->Setup->Установки->Язык), затем снова меняем на русский.

Нажимаем "бесполезную" кнопку на правой спице руля, ждем пИка и командуем MMI-кой на чистом англицком.

As always DUK63 is correct.
For the MMI 3G+ you can switch language using Setup MMI in the border up right corner of MMI display.

I have update FW to 614 then to 770 - still doesnt works in poland - czech republic yes here no :)

so it FW isnt a reason - just map - so proably I will need upgrade to 2013 or 2014.

Jhonny the screen is about component protection and it is right that you have no sound from anything.
You have to remove cp from your audi dealer and then you will have sound again

After replacing the MMI3G to MMI3G+, the new MMI3G+ worked without disabling components protection? You did not visit to authorized dealer for disable it? Component protection tripped after flashing MMI? Then only visit to authorized dealer.this sometimes happens ??????????????????
I had a case when my MMI3G after flashing wrote on components protection. Likely missing link between MMI and Gateway. After ignition on connection recovered and MMI3G has earned / У меня был случай, когда моя MMI3G после очередной перепрошивки написала по защиту компонентов. Скорее всего пропала связь между MMI3G и гейтвеем. После включения зажигания связь восстановилась, MMI3G заработала.

jxe - an archive, inside each file has a checksum. After changing the text checksum changes. Get new checksum, you can use WinZip./jxe - это архив, внутри него каждый файл имеет контрольную сумму. jxe can unpack WinZip. But WinZip can not pack back into jxe./jxe можно распаковать WinZip. Но WinZip не может запаковать обратно в jxe.

When you unpack the modified file jxe, WinZip write about checksum error for specific file. And show old and new checksum. New checksum must be made in jxe file in two places./При попытке распаковать измененный jxe файл, WinZip напишет об ошибке контрольной суммы конкретного файла. И покажет старую и новую контрольную сумму. Новую контрольную сумму надо внести в jxe файл в двух местах.

Johnny what you wrote it is not clear
If you originally have mmi 3g your gateway was linked to your mmi. When you replaced your mmi qith 3g plus your car must bw gone to component protection and to use it you removed cp from your audi dealer.
Now if you reinsert you mmi 3g your car went to cp again and it is not possible that all worked well.
So cp is normal when you replace some components.
It is not clear if you removed cp when you installed mmi 3g plus the first time.

Johnny you buyed a MMi 3G+ from a person who knew how to remove cp without going to audi dealer.
I don't reccomend this operation because you should buy a stolen part and this is a crime.
When you updated the fw you probably remove the parametration and then you car went to cp.
Now you have to go to audi dealer to remoce cp and if the mmi was stolen audi central server will not remove cp and stolen part will be linked to your vin and you will probably have problems with police.

jalib - my problem back again - I was sure that problem was related with write protected my sdcard but again scripts doesnt works

its doesnt matter slot1 or slot2, doesnt matter fat, fat32 etc, I tried diffrent SD cards 512MB, 2GB, 4GB even 32GB, class2, 4, 6 and 10

Карточку форматирую стандартной утилитой Windows, все параметры по умолчанию, только делаю полное форматирование.

Попробуйте принудительно сохранить run.sh в кодировке UTF-8 без BOM. И обязательно отключать карточку через "Безопасное удаление устройства".
Try to forced keep run.sh in UTF-8 without BOM. And be sure to disable the card through the "Safely Remove Hardware".

Все проекты по использованию карт останавливает только одна проблема - не получается в динамике подставить GPS-данные в HTML.
Текущую GPS-позицию получить удалось.

so nice that you are using russian then English - I have possiblity to refresh my russian - everyday I am able to read cyrylic much easier :)

Для работы на ПК:
лучше скопировать на SD-карточку, в корне должны быть папки HTML и tmp.
For PC :
better copy to SD- card , in the root should be folders HTML and tmp.

tmp имитирует папку tmp в MMI.
tmp simulates tmp folder in MMI

Запустить /html/start.html
Если изменять координаты в файле /tmp/YMaps_Coord_t.js и сохранять файл, то картинка карты будет меняться.
В YMaps_Coord_t.js координаты умножены на 1000000, так надо.
Еще раз скажу - на ПК это работает, в MMI - не работает :(

Once again I say - it works on the PC , in the MMI is not working :(

Карты работают в двух режимах: отслеживание координат и управление в ручном режиме. В режиме отслеживания координат на карте присутствует перекрестие ( прицел ) и нет кнопок управления. На клавиатуре работают кнопки вверх, вниз и enter, иммитируют главную крутилку MMI и нажатие на нее.
Enter переключает карту в режим ручного управления.
These maps operate in two modes: tracking coordinates and control in manual mode. In tracking mode on the map there is a crosshair (aim) and no buttons. The buttons on the keyboard up, down and enter, imitate the main rotator MMI and pressing it.
Enter key switches the map to manual mode.

В картах Гугл масштаб 22 включает streetview.

jalib as I understood you made update firmware using emergency mode and scripts back to work on your side? pls let me know in points what you did Hi, sorry for delay. Yes, I did install the same version of firmware but not from standard upgrade menu I did it from green menu->emergency upgrade. My point of view it's look like cleare OS install(all user data like maps, adaptationa and coding is saved automatically) the differents of our issues is in my sitiation the scripts never start before...

my problem with starting scripts back to me - again I am not able to run any script or its possible after 20-30 attempts :(

how about you? I tried to do emergency update again - and it fix the problem just for run one script (with map activation) then I still cant run any script - sdcard doesnt matter, slot doesnt matter :(

any other ideas?

and in same time when opening websites via boardbook doesnt works - audi connect, traffic info and google maps works fine

Additional I have saved netstat and ifconfig - for two situation

1. WWW via boardbook works - folder name WWW
2. WWW via boardbook doesnt work - folder name noWWW

jxe - an archive, inside each file has a checksum. After changing the text checksum changes. Get new checksum, you can use WinZip./jxe - это архив, внутри него каждый файл имеет контрольную сумму. После изменения текста контрольная сумма изменяется. Получить новую контрольную сумму можно с помощью WinZip.

jxe can unpack WinZip. But WinZip can not pack back into jxe./jxe можно распаковать WinZip. Но WinZip не может запаковать обратно в jxe.

When you unpack the modified file jxe, WinZip write about checksum error for specific file. And show old and new checksum. New checksum must be made in jxe file in two places./При попытке распаковать измененный jxe файл, WinZip напишет об ошибке контрольной суммы конкретного файла. И покажет старую и новую контрольную сумму. Новую контрольную сумму надо внести в jxe файл в двух местах.

Добрый, день. Помогите, я сделал обновление MMI 3G HIGH с жесткого диска до версии 0257_6 и теперь нету карт.
Во время обновления K0206 -> K0253 дверь была закрыта (я оставил ее открытой, согласно инструкции NIC нельзя использовать во время обновления), но, к сожалению, дверь была закрыта и в конце была NOK с одним или двумя модулями, поэтому я снова начал обновлять ту же версию и обновило еще 2 модули. После этого лечения я заметил, что версия nav.database пуста, и навигация перестала работать. Затем я сделал K0253 -> K0257_5 и, наконец, K0257_5 -> K0257_6. Затем я удалил старые карты через зеленое меню. При попытке установить карты 6.24.2 через минуту было обновлено только 2 модуля, а тот модуль что отвечает за карты не был обновлён (имел «?» рядом с ним). Я почитал, и выяснилось, что это нужно сделать через User defined, что я и сделал, и примерно через 3 часа загрузка была окончена, но после перезагрузки MMI nav.database ничего не показал. Я запустил активатор, думая, что это поможет, но все же nav.database пуста, и карты не работают. Также обновил версию K0257_6 через Emergency Update, а затем карты и активатор, но все так же, никакого эффекта. 16347 - Control Module - EEPROM Error
